For over 40 years, Sacred Meadow has specialized in horticulture and landscaping services for Philadelphia’s Main Line and Upper Main Line region. We host everything from intimate outdoor weddings and anniversaries to birthdays and graduation parties. Most importantly, we strive to serve our community with showstopping exterior design and memorable events.
In 1987, Marjorie Schneider purchased a professionally developed and manicured parcel of land from a well-established landscaping and plant nursery firm to follow a calling towards horticulture she couldn’t quite explain. Throughout the next two decades, she obtained a degree in horticulture and put hard work and love into helping the land reach its full potential. Eventually, Marjorie Schneider Nurseries became one of the Main Line’s leading nurseries and landscaping services. With the help of William Shutter of Shutter & Stern Design, Marjorie curated a stunning space, complete with a quatrefoil pool and pool house. Today, under the name Sacred Meadow, Marjorie’s passion project continues to live on through the hands and hearts of her children, providing the community with delightful plantings and stunning event curation.
As a family-run business, we center honesty and transparency in all our services. Our top priority is to provide Main Line and Upper Main Line residents with a friendly and reliable service backed by family values.

Sacred Meadow events have been among my most treasured and memorable moments. My sister had her wedding there, my nephew had his bar mitzvah party, and our parents had their 70th-anniversary celebration there, too.
